Happy New Year! As I settle into 2026, I’m feeling that perfect mix of nerves and adrenaline. LFG 🔥.
The end of 2025 has pushed me to work smaller and faster—staying rooted in the city streets through daily sketching. These pieces are my "testing grounds," where I work through architecture and perspective before the ideas move onto larger canvases.
The Latest Series
Looking West at Night (Ingleside): A study in "hero colors" against layered greys and values.
Dawn’s First Looking North (Outer Mission): A return to a structure that has stayed with me since a 2022 commission for Arturo. San Francisco’s house variations are a subject I’ll never run out of.
Wavey Afternoon Light (Bernal Flats): Inspired by a 2022 coffee run to Cafe Seventy8. I exaggerated the lines to capture the intense wind that day.
Wavey Golden Hour (Potrero Hill): A hazy memory of 2020 and my final year at CCA. I loved stretching out the Honda Civic and Volvo on these hilly streets.
All original sketches are now available on my website.
